RTKData Story about CCD
Having precise location measurements of K9 Alerts is extremely important in the work we do. Thanks to our donors, this Spring we purchased an Emlid Reach RX2 GNSS system that allows measurement down to a centimeter! Gone are the days of the GPS error of 6- 12 feet.
RTKData is the company that we use with the RX2 to do the actual NTRIP corrections that get us that centimeter level accuracy.
They were intrigued with the work we do and wanted to do a story for their website blog.

EMLID REach RX2 Purchased!
Thanks to our generous donors, we were recently able to purchase an Emlid Reach RX2. This system is a real time kinematic GNSS/GPS capable of centimeter-level accuracy to record detection alerts and relevant field observations. This level of precision can be especially valuable when a project requires integration with archaeological grids, GIS layers, future ground-truthing, or repeat visits by other specialists.
